How to make Indian cookie-Nankhatia




                  Indian cookie- NanKhatia




Nankhatai's roots are similar to the biscuits or cookies they made, which were used since the time of the Mughal emperors.  This sweet biscuit is one of the oldest sweets of India. The name Nankhatai comes from the Persian language, in which "nan" means "bread" and "khatai" means "biscuit."  Nankhatai was developed in the Gujarat region, and was popularized using desi ghee and refined flour. There is no specific history behind it, but it has held an important place in the Indian sweet tradition, and its popularity continues even today.  





Ingredients required 



 

1 cup flour

1/2 cup gram flour

1/2 cup clarified butter

1/4 teaspoon cardamom Powder 



Method to make biscuits


Make Dough: Mix flour, gram flour, ghee, sugar, and cardamom powder in a bowl. Mix everything well to make a smooth dough.


Shape of Cookies: Make small round cakes from the dough.



. Lighten each cookie.  Bake flat, so that the cookie shape remains. Bake Kare: Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Place the cookies on a tray and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown.                



Cold :- Bake.  After baking, the cookies should be cooled. Serve: Serve with tea or coffee and enjoy!
